1. Who we are
Visionware (“we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described here. This policy covers visionware.live and dashboard.visionware.live, our checkout, our licensing system and our official Discord server. It does not cover other websites or services we link to, which have their own policies.
2. What we collect
When you buy
- The email address you enter on Stripe’s checkout page, the product and plan you bought, the price, and payment status and reference numbers from Stripe.
- Your answer to “Where did you find us?” and when you accepted our terms.
If you create an account or sign in
- Your email address and name. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash.
- For each signed-in session: when it started, your IP address and your browser’s user agent, so you can see and sign out your devices.
If you use Discord with us
- Signing in with Discord gives us your Discord user ID, username, profile picture and verified email address, and adds you to our Discord server.
- In our server, our bot processes what is needed to run it: support ticket messages (kept as ticket transcripts), moderation records such as warnings, and your roles.
License data
To deliver your product and prevent key sharing, our licensing system stores your license key, a hardware identifier of the PC the key is locked to, when the key was activated and expires, and when its device lock was last reset.
Collected automatically
- Standard server logs (IP address, requested page, browser) used for security and to keep the site running.
- Short-lived, hashed records of sign-in and checkout attempts, used to stop abuse.
We don’t use advertising or analytics trackers and don’t build advertising profiles. We never see or store your full card details; Stripe handles them.
3. How we use it
- To process your order and deliver your key and loader.
- To run our licensing system and stop key sharing, piracy, fraud and abuse.
- To provide your account, dashboard and Discord features, and to give support.
- To keep the website and our systems secure and working.
- To understand which channels bring customers to us (your “Where did you find us?” answer).
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
4. Legal bases (EEA and UK)
If you are in the EEA or UK, we rely on:
- Contract — to sell and deliver your product, run your license and account, and support you.
- Legitimate interests — to secure our services, prevent fraud and key sharing, and understand how customers find us.
- Legal obligation — to keep records required for tax and accounting.
7. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside your country, including outside the EEA and UK. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards the law recognises, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
8. How long we keep it
- Orders and payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- License data: for the life of the license, and for a reasonable time afterwards to prevent abuse and handle disputes.
- Accounts: until you ask us to delete your account.
- Ticket transcripts and moderation records: as long as needed to support you and keep our community safe.
- Sign-in and checkout attempt records: deleted within a day.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. Contact us through our Discord to make a request; we may need to confirm it’s really you first. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Security
We protect your data with measures such as encrypted connections, hashed passwords and private, single-browser purchase links, and we use established providers for payments and hosting. No system is completely secure, so please keep your key and password private.
11. Children
Our services aren’t meant for children. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 (or the minimum age in your country). If you think a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date above, and we announce important changes in our Discord.
